Deleting your Versus account is permanent.

You can delete your Versus account and its associated data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete from inside the app

The fastest way to delete your account is from within the app:

Open Versus → Profile → Delete account

Confirming this permanently deletes your account and the data associated with it — your profile, player card, gameplay history and statistics, feed posts, and uploaded photos.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove:

• Your profile and personal details (display name, email, phone number, date of birth, gender, bio, country, and avatar photo)
• Your player card and any AI-generated card images
• Your uploaded photos
• Your social feed posts and reactions
• Your sign-in credentials (your authentication account is deleted)

Shared match and scoring records that other players also took part in may be retained in anonymised form (no longer linked to your identity) so those other players' own history stays intact.

Data retention

We delete your personal data promptly when you delete your account. A minimal amount of information (such as basic security and abuse-prevention logs) may be retained for a short period — typically up to 30 days — to protect against fraud and abuse and to meet legal obligations, after which it is purged. Backups are rotated on a regular schedule and any residual copies are overwritten as backups age out.

Request account deletion

If you can no longer open the app, submit your request below and the Versus team will permanently delete your account and associated data. Use the email address associated with your Versus account so we can verify it's you.
