Child Safety Standards

Our commitment

Versus has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Versus is a platform for amateur and club cricketers to score matches, build a player identity, and share results. We are committed to keeping our community safe, and we have a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including any child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Prohibited content and conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on Versus, without exception:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers a minor
  • Grooming, enticement, sextortion, or any attempt to sexually exploit a minor
  • Sexualisation of minors, including in text, images, or generated media
  • Trafficking of, or any other abuse or endangerment of, minors

Any account involved in this content or conduct is removed immediately and permanently, and reported to the appropriate authorities.

How to report a concern

If you encounter content or behaviour that may endanger a child, please report it right away. You can report from multiple places:

  • In the app: use the report tools on any post, profile, or user to flag content and report abusive users.
  • By email: contact our child-safety team directly at support@versus.xyz. Reports of suspected child endangerment are prioritised.

Every report is reviewed, and we act on reports of child-safety concerns as a top priority, including removing content and banning offending accounts.

Removal and reporting to authorities

When we become aware of CSAM on our platform, we remove it and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the relevant law-enforcement and regulatory authorities, and we cooperate with their investigations. We take action on every credible report of child endangerment.

Point of contact

Our designated child-safety and abuse point of contact is support@versus.xyz. You can reach this address for any child-safety concern, including reports, questions, or requests from parents, guardians, or authorities.

Versus is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13.
